This project involves a custom illustration created for the Amex ZA Graphic Arts Challenge, a localized extension of American Express’s global “Vibrant African Market Place – Everyone’s Welcome” campaign. Developed as a competition submission for unique point-of-purchase signage, the artwork was designed to visually capture the energy of a vibrant African marketplace while maintaining a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for cardholders.
The illustration was designed to function as a cohesive Visual Welcome—blending local creativity with commercial utility, transforming standard storefront stickers into engaging art, and contributing to a dynamic, localized brand environment that resonates with South African merchants and their customers.
